Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food safety guidelines are strictly followed during meal preparation and cooking. Assist in the planning and execution of menus, taking into account dietary requirements and preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages as needed. Provide support in serving meals to customers, ensuring an excellent dining experience.

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or similar setting. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Previous kitchen experience is essential; restaurant experience is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
