Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled/Semi Skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a good understanding of kitchen operations. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that meals are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our residents.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in the planning and execution of meal preparation, ensuring timely service. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods. Monitor food inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Keep the kitchen area clean and organised, including washing utensils and equipment after use. Participate in menu development by providing input on seasonal dishes and specials.

Skills

Some experience in food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Good knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment. Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to help others when needed Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members.
