Job Overview.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Cafe team at Meadow Grange Nursery.
We are looking for someone to join our team as a Cook. This role involves working within a busy kitchen environment. Tasks include food preparation and service. Keeping all working areas within the kitchen clean and tidy, loading the dishwasher, washing up, cleaning, and assisting with any other work as necessary. The ideal candidate will be a good team player with great communication skills. Being well presented with a warm, welcoming and bubbly nature.
This is a very hands-on role and you will need to be able to work on your initiative. The role also has the potential for development and progression within the company.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a busy cafe/restaurant environment, preparing food, and have knowledge of food safety legislation. however training will be given to the right candidate.
The preferred working pattern for this position is:
Working - Wednesday to Sunday
Days off - Monday & Tuesday
This working pattern is open to discussion at interview.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 42.5 per week
Work Location: In person
