Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our culinary team as a Cook. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment. This role involves preparing meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Working days / hours will be :

Monday 10.30am - 2.30pm. Friday 10.30am - 2.30pm. Saturday 8am - 4pm.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and of high quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management. Ensure presentation meets our standards. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a kitchen or restaurant setting. Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
