Stone Range Cafe is a warm and welcoming cafe known for its delicious, homemade meals and friendly atmosphere. We pride ourselves on offering high-quality food made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We are looking for a passionate Cook to join our team and help us continue to delight our customers with delicious food during the cafe hours.

While experience is beneficial, we're willing to train the right person who is keen, motivated, and eager to learn.

Set work days of Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday. With notice these can be alterd for holidays and time off.

Job Summary:
The Cook at Stone Range Cafe will be responsible for preparing a variety of dishes according to our recipes. The ideal candidate will have a background in cooking, a passion for food, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in ensuring our customers have an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with the cafe's recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and presented attractively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, following health and safety guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude with both team members and customers.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.

Skills:
- Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
