Lucas Love Healthcare are working alongside their client to recruit an experienced Cook to join their Care Home within Carryduff.

Main Duties:

Ensuring residents receive nutritious, high quality meals tailored to their dietary needs Responsible for preparing meals and snacks in line with residents dietary requirements Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all food preparation and storage areas Managing stock Ordering supplies Controlling waste Plan varied and balanced menus that accommodate dietary requirements and likes Providing clear instructions and supervision to any kitchen assistants Complete necessary paperwork, including food safety records and compliance documentation Ensure adherence to statutory regulations such as COSHH and HACCP

Essential Criteria:

Experience in cooking, ideally within a care setting or catering environment Basic Food Hygiene certificate (or willing to obtain) Understanding of dietary requirements eg IDDSI, allergen, diabetes etc. Eligibility to live and work within the UK Medical fitness to carry out physical requirements of the role
