Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety. As apub cook / chef, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests while maintaining the highest standards of kitchen operations.

Duties

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the restaurant's menu and standards, following the company spec. Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes are presented beautifully. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Monitor portion sizes and waste control to maintain cost efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Cook / Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and presentation. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking and creativity in meal preparation. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also taking initiative when necessary. Culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential.
