Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes, standards and textures.*

Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.*

Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients.*

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all utensils and equipment are properly cleaned and stored.*

Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.*

Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.*

Qualifications

Experience as a Cook in a Care Home Setting environment is essential.*

Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene standards.*

Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.*

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.*

A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new techniques.*

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.*
