Duties



Assist with menu planning by preparing ingredient lists and ensuring all dishes meet quality standards Prepare and cook a variety of meals using proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures Support food presentation by garnishing dishes attractively and ensuring consistency across servings Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment according to food safety regulations Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal preparation and delivery efficiently Serve meals to guests or residents with friendly, attentive service that enhances their dining experience Assist with catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality standards Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations

Experience



Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations within the food industry or restaurant settings Experience with menu planning, meal prep, and food presentation techniques Familiarity with fine dining standards or upscale restaurant environments is a plus Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods are essential Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation regulations is required Prior experience in catering or large-scale meal service is advantageous

This is a 24hour hotel

Hours / Days are different to meet the business needs

Morning Shift 05.00 am- 12.00pm

Evening Shift - 17.00pm - 00.00pm

We require some who is flexible to cover any of the shifts above

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 33 per week
