Job Description

Our company is currently hiring for a breakfast cook & host.

Breakfast is a self service continental buffet, therefore you'll be replenishing listed items only, with only 3 hot/warm items.

Breakfast duties include, but not limited to:

Greet guests and make sure they have breakfast included Cleans food preparation areas as determined by law and company policy Prepares foods to the specifications of the client Prepares food before the arrival of guests Orders ingredients and spices as needed Portions, arranges, and garnishes food Estimates expected food consumption and organises preparation Record food temperatures and fridge/freezer temps Cleans up after and safely store food products
In the near future, we will be offering a full English breakfast to our offering, all the above will be the same, but cooking of English breakfast items included, again, this will be buffet style so no individual/different orders (except for dietary/allergy needs).

We will also be doing tour groups with all or some of the following

- Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner

Each group will be different, with different requirements, 3 course meals will need to be provided, and usually with a choice of 3/3/3 (3 starters, 3 mains, 3 desserts).

Cleans food preparation areas as determined by law and company policy Prepares foods to the specifications of the client Prepares food before the arrival of guests Makes adjustments to food items to accommodate guests with allergies or specific diet concerns Seasons food according to recipes or company needs Orders ingredients and spices as needed Portions, arranges, and garnishes food based on client preference Estimates expected food consumption and organises preparation Prepares any necessary sauces or accompaniments before meal service begins Record food temperatures and fridge/freezer temps Cleans up after and safely store food products
We may look for an extra cook and host during dinner services, so the breakfast cook may not need to do the dinners, this will be discussed during the interview stage.

Dinner cook wages will also be discussed during the interview stage, the rate listed above is for the breakfast cook/host.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: Up to 12.30 per hour
