Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Cook/ Chef position at our 30 bed care home.

Duties include:

Preparing and serving meals in a timely manner with consideration to allergies or dietary requirements that may be present Stock control Maintaining high standards of kitchen health, safety and cleanliness in regards to all relevant regulations Ensuring all equipment is used with care and is in good working order. Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those they support Be able to work on your own to produce home cooked meals for the residents.
Skills required

Proven ability to cook Positive attitude Keen learner Able to operate under pressure Able to work well in a team Good time management skills Empathy
Cooking skills are essential and the ability to perform a full meal service

The position is 27 hours per week, Additional days may be required to cover holidays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 14.55 per hour
