Summary

We are looking for a skilled Cook to join our team! We are looking for someone with drive and passion who is seeking a career in the food industry. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals and ensuring food safety standards are met. Your culinary expertise will play a vital role in enhancing our Food to Go offerings.

Responsibilities

Cooking and serving directly to customers, preparing breakfast rolls, pre-packed sandwiches, rolls and lunch such as Panini, Chips etc. Train, mentor and support food staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are followed meticulously Assist in the planning of menus and meal preparation schedules Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role Minimum of 3 years of food experience or 1 year of supervisor food prep experience Must be able to start work at 6am Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations Attention to detail in meal preparation Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and teamwork ability Desire to grow with the business and take on more responsibilities with opportunities for advancement in the business
