Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Cook for our restaurant at Simpsons Garden Centre here in Fochabers. Someone who can work the line, master the grill and who really cares about the food they are sending out. We cook everything on our menu fresh on site, so you must be able to work at pace, have a great eye for detail and who take pride in the food you cook, ensuring our customers enjoy their dish from the first bite to the last crumb! We cook everything in house, and run a short, daily changing menu from seasonal ingredients.
An individual who can drive and deliver our offer, building on our reputation for an excellent brunch/lunch/dinner service and quality food. You will join an energetic team whose collective mission is to provide great food and service to our customers. You will be an enthusiastic person who takes pride in their work and can deliver our offering with pace, quality, and consistency.
Requirements of Cook
Minimum of 2 years' Experience in a busy kitchen. Ability to cook from first principles with fresh ingredients. Ability to Work as Part of a Team.
Responsibilities of Cook
Preparing and chopping vegetables, salads, meat, and fish in readiness for service Able to cook to a good standard Follow all current Health & Safety guidelines for food preparation Be consistent and deliver dishes to a high standard Help create dishes for the menu
