Job Introduction As a Cook / General Assistant at Sodexo in Nuffield Health Shrewsbury, you\xe2\x80\x99ll have an enthusiasm for food and a willingness to learn and develop your skills. • Assist with the preparation and cooking of dishes under the guidance of the head or senior chef.
• Ensure work areas and equipment are kept clean and tidy
• Work collaboratively with other members of the brigade to ensure service runs smoothly.
• Comply with all Company and hospital policies and procedures.

What you bring:

• Basic food-handling skills are desirable, but not essential if you are willing to learn.
• Previous kitchen experience
• Great communication skills
• A positive attitude
• Willing to learn new skills e.g., Health & Safety, Health & Hygiene, Food Safety

• Hours: 37.5 per week
• Shift pattern: Thursday & Friday 10am-4pm, Saturday 7am-6pm, Sunday 7am-2pm
• Rate of pay: \xc2\xa311.40 per hour
• Free Parking on-site
• Free meal on duty
