We are seeking 2 cooks to join our team,
11am to 4pm Wednesday to Sunday
4pm to 9pm Wednesday to Sunday,

With the opportunity for more hours going into busy periods.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and safety, with a keen interest in creating delicious meals that delight our guests. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and hygiene.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and customer preferences. Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring all food safety regulations are adhered to. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure all necessary ingredients are available for meal preparation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Follow recipes and presentation specifications to deliver high-quality meals consistently. Participate in menu planning and suggest new dishes or improvements based on seasonal ingredients or customer feedback.

Skills

Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent culinary skills with the ability to prepare diverse cuisines. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and preparation. A team player who can collaborate effectively with kitchen staff while also being able to work independently when required.
