We are currently recruiting for part time experienced cooks to join our team in our southside cafe

Various hours and days available including weekends ( Rate of pay to be discussed at interview depending on age group and hours offered)

This position is available with immediate start,

The cafe operates from 7am - 4pm Monday - Sunday

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed in the kitchen. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and a positive dining experience. Maintain kitchen equipment and inventory, ensuring all supplies are stocked and organized. Provide leadership and training to new staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a kitchen environment Strong culinary skills with a focus on food safety and hygiene Background in hospitality and customer service Leadership abilities with experience in supervising kitchen staff Familiarity with food production processes and team management Previous restaurant experience, including serving and customer interaction skills

Pay: 225.00-325.00 per week
