Duties

Assist with food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients for various dishes Cook and assemble meals according to established recipes and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands Support the team during busy periods by serving customers and managing order flow Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to uphold hygiene standards Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying supervisors of shortages or expiry dates Contribute to creating a welcoming environment for customers through friendly service and professional conduct

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or working within a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food safety procedures and hygiene standards is advantageous Experience working in a restaurant or catering setting, including meal preparation and serving, will be considered a plus Familiarity with culinary techniques and ingredients can enhance performance in this role Strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are important qualities for success
