Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team in preparing delicious meals for our residents. The ideal candidate will work within both of our homes on a rotational basis which are a short walk apart. Hours of work will be 9-5pm 7.5hrs a day x 3 = 22.5 hours total.

Duties:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Assist in menu planning and developing new recipes.
- Ensure food safety standards are maintained throughout all stages of food preparation.
- Help with stock rotation and control to minimise waste.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to provide excellent service during peak hours.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.

Skills:
- Proven experience as a Cook ideally in a care home setting.
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21 per hour
