Cook - Glyncornel Nursing Home

13.50 per hour
24 hours per week (8:30am - 5:00pm, 2 days a week on a rota)

We are currently looking for a dedicated and reliable

to join our team at Glyncornel Nursing Home.

About the Role:

You'll be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for our residents in line with a pre-set menu. Meals may vary in consistency to suit individual dietary needs. You will be working independently in the kitchen. General cleaning duties and following cleaning schedules are a key part of the role. Occasional cover for colleagues during annual leave may be required.

What We're Looking For:

A valid

Food Hygiene Certificate

or willingness to work towards one. Previous experience in a care home is

not essential

- full training will be provided. Someone who is organised, confident working alone, and passionate about preparing nutritious meals.
