The hours of work will be approximately 25.00 hours per week and the post will be G04 PR 8 - 11 14,879.29 - 16,109.06 per annum. 13.4723 - 14.1342 per hour.
An enthusiastic person is required to provide catering for the students, staff and visitors. To provide school meals in accordance with centrally agreed menus and undertake the associated supervisory duties.
The main duties of the post will include: -
1. Organise, prepare and serve food at lunchtime for the students, staff and visitors of Ysgol Tudno.
2. Provide on the job training for new cooks and colleagues.
3. Cooking the meals required, portion control, food service, ordering, washing up and cleaning of kitchen and dining room.
4. Be prepared to undergo appropriate training and development (sometimes outside normal working days/hours by prior arrangement) i.e. Intermediate Food Hygiene and Basic Nutrition.
5. Associated clerical duties.
Due to the nature of the work, it will be necessary to obtain a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as the Criminal Records Bureau).
