About the Role

We are offering a unique and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic

Chef / Cook

to take ownership of a newly created kitchen within a beautiful private estate in Ince Blundell.

This isn't a typical catering role -- you will have the freedom to

run your own kitchen

, plan menus, manage ordering, and create delicious meals in a calm, relaxed environment.

You'll be preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner for carers coming to the estate for

respite breaks

. Meal numbers are small (maximum

22 guests

), so quality and care are the focus --

not high-volume service

.

What You'll Do

Plan, prepare, and cook 3 balanced meals per day. Ensure a welcoming, positive experience for guests staying at the estate. Manage stock ordering, menu planning, and simple budgeting. Maintain the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness and food safety. Work collaboratively with another chef on a weekly rota.

What We're Looking For

Experience working as a

Cook or Chef

. Must hold

Level 2 Food Hygiene certification

. Confident in safe food preparation and maintaining food safety standards. Ability to manage kitchen stock, ordering, and simple budget control. Someone who enjoys creating homely, nutritious, and attractive meals. A positive, proactive attitude and pride in your work.
