Job Description

We are a family run farm shop situated near Blackburn & Kintore, Aberdeenshire. We are looking for someone to join our fantastic team of chefs and kitchen staff.

Candidates applying must have experience in a previous catering / cook role, this is the essential for the role being advertised.

Our restaurant can be a very fast paced environment, especially at weekends so someone that thrives on a bit of pressure, can come together as a member of a team and a good communicator with other members of the team is required.

The role could include jobs such as kitchen prep, basic cooking, heading up our drive thru team on your rota weekend, and working alongside our supervisor to ensure we are providing the best food and service in our drive thru team. In addition, you may be assisting chefs with breakfast and lunch service / making sandwiches and toasties when required. This would all fall under your remit as well as assisting with kitchen close down and cleaning.

We require candidates to be flexible, as and when required. Hours are part time but willing to consider hours that suit the right candidate. There are no evening shifts (just one late night a month shared among the team), but weekend work is included on a fortnightly rota basis. We will not accept candidates who are not willing to work their share of weekends. Rate of pay is dependent on experience and performance in the job, but there is very much room for progression.
