Marchmont Cook - Temporary to long-term position

We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual to join our team as a Marchmont. As a cook, you will be responsible for meal preparation, food preparation, and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. - Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces
- Ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Follow proper sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment

Skills

- Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety practices
- Experience working in a restaurant or similar culinary environment
