Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to specified recipes and standards Assist with meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery of dishes during busy periods Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment Support team members in serving customers when required Manage stock levels and notify management of supplies needed for efficient kitchen operation Ensure all food is stored correctly and labelled appropriately

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or within a restaurant environment is essential references will be needed Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures Experience with meal preparation and culinary techniques Familiarity with serving food in a hospitality setting is advantageous Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Strong organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team
