Job Description
Glenburnie is an independent, 23 bed residential care home set in a quiet area of Leven. We are a family owned care home, where our residents wellbeing is at the center of everything we do.
We are looking for an individual who has a passion for home cooking, fresh baking and working with the elderly. The successful applicant will be responsible for cooking all meals and light refreshments for our residents & family. We encourage creative ideas and new suggestions for our home and expect that you will liaise with the residents about their meal preferences also.
The successful applicant will ensure all Health & Safety and Infection Control Procedures are adhered to, whilst maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen. As the role is lone working, the ability to manage your own time is essential. A knowledge of the Cook Safe Manual is beneficial alongside the dietary requirements and prescribed dietary modifications that is often required for older adults.
The shift times are 07:30 - 17:30, a total of 14 shifts per month.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 13.80 per hour
