About Us

Mini Villagers Co is a brand-new children's roleplay village and family cafe opening in Liverpool at the end of October. We are creating something truly special, a space where children can play and explore while families enjoy great food, coffee, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Our cafe will serve brunch-style food, fresh juices, smoothies, and healthy treats that look as good as they taste. From character pancakes and mini brunch boards to beautiful graze tables for parties, our menu will be designed to make food fun and memorable.

The Role

We are looking for a Full-Time Head Chef to join us before we open and take the lead in bringing our food vision to life. This is a hands-on role with real creative freedom.

What You'll Be Doing

Work with us to design and develop a fun, family-friendly menu that excites both kids and adults. Take charge of daily kitchen operations once open and maintain high standards of quality, taste, and presentation. Lead on food preparation, service, and hygiene with pride and attention to detail. Manage stock, suppliers, and food costs. Keep the kitchen organised, spotless, and fully compliant at all times. Support and guide junior staff as the team grows. Bring ideas to the table and help make food creative and exciting.
What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef (cafe, brunch, or family dining background preferred). Strong knowledge of food hygiene, allergens, and food safety (Level 3 certificate preferred). Creative and confident with food presentation and menu design. Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills. Positive, team-focused attitude with a willingness to get involved in all areas. Must be available to work weekends and flexible daytime hours. Excitement to help shape and grow a brand-new business.
