Nursery Cook

to join our friendly team and provide delicious, home-cooked lunches for up to 38 children each day.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to high standards of food safety and quality. You'll work

Monday to Friday, from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM, for 50 weeks a year

, playing a vital role in ensuring our children have enjoyable and nutritious dining experiences.

What you'll be doing:

Preparing and cooking a variety of appealing, home-cooked dishes. Ensuring all food is prepared safely and hygienically, strictly adhering to food safety regulations. Assisting with menu planning and meal preparation schedules to keep things fresh and exciting. Maintaining a sparkling clean and organised kitchen area, including all equipment and utensils. Working closely with our team to ensure smooth and efficient meal service. Monitoring ingredient stock levels and reporting any needs. Helping to train new kitchen staff on food preparation and safety.

What we're looking for:

A strong understanding of

food safety practices and regulations

is a must. Proven

culinary skills

with experience in a kitchen setting, able to create diverse and appealing meals. Excellent

organisational skills

to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The ability to work well

under pressure

in a busy environment. A true
