We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Cook. The Cook will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food safety protocols are strictly followed, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment. Assist in the planning and execution of menu items, including seasonal specials and dietary requirements. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service. Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies, reporting any shortages or equipment issues. Provide support in serving meals during busy periods, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential, with a focus on food preparation and cooking. Cooking experience is highly desirable, particularly in a Care Home setting. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for meal preparation. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
