Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and best practices. Assist in the planning of menus and daily specials, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.

Skills

Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations within a restaurant setting. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
