We are seeking a dedicated and skilled culinary professional to join our team as a Cook. This role is essential in ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and service, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, with experience in various culinary settings, including fine dining and catering.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality meals following established recipes and menu plans.
Assist in menu planning, ensuring a diverse and appealing selection of dishes.
Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.
Handle food items safely and efficiently, demonstrating excellent knife skills.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Provide support in catering events, including setup, serving, and cleanup.
Engage with guests to deliver outstanding food service experiences.
Participate in training new staff members on food handling and preparation techniques.
Experience
Proven experience in the dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred.
Background in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal preparation processes.
Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
Experience in catering services is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
