We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our kitchen team as a Cook. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in food preparation and cooking, with a keen understanding of food safety practices. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Serve meals to customers with attention to presentation and quality.
Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety.
Experience
Previous kitchen experience is essential, preferably within a restaurant setting.
Culinary experience with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques is highly desirable.
Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is required.
