Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a keen understanding of food safety practices. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires a commitment to maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment while working collaboratively within our small team.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes which Includes all day breakfasts, lunches, specials and afternoon treats. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Assist in the planning and preparation of daily menus, considering dietary restrictions and preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure adequate supplies are available.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes is highly desirable. Ability to work flexible hours 8am - 6pm including occasional Saturdays.

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
