Duties
Prepare a variety of dishes following established recipes and standards
Assist with meal preparation, ensuring timely and efficient service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations
Serve customers courteously and efficiently, providing excellent customer service
Support the team during busy periods, including taking orders and managing food delivery to tables
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety standards
Assist with stock rotation and inventory management as required
Requirements
Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene
Experience working in a restaurant or catering environment is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required
