We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a keen interest in creating delicious meals especially breakfast dishes. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and presentation of all dishes served, while adhering to food safety standards.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Assist in the planning and preparation of daily menus, ensuring that all dishes are prepared on time.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, including proper storage of food items and equipment.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service periods.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when orders are needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and meal presentation.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
A passion for cooking and creating high-quality dishes that meet customer expectations.
Flexibility to work and cover shifts, including weekends
