Grade 3, point 6 25,558 per annum (17,916 pro rata)



Do you have a passion for great food, excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming dining experience? We're looking for a Catering Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality, nutritious meals for our students, staff, and visitors.

Working under the guidance of the Chef Manager, you'll lead a team of catering assistants, help plan and prepare menus, and ensure that our catering service is safe, efficient, and customer-focused.

What you'll be doing:

Supervising the daily catering service, including breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Supporting and guiding the catering team to deliver a smooth, high-standard service. Preparing, cooking, and serving fresh meals with creativity and variety. Ensuring compliance with food hygiene, allergen legislation, and health & safety standards. Assisting with menu planning, stock control, ordering, and budget management. Promoting a positive, welcoming dining experience for students and staff.
What we're looking for:

Essential:

NVQ Level 2/3 in Catering (or equivalent). Knowledge of food hygiene, allergens, and health & safety. Experience in a customer-focused catering environment. Strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills. A flexible, friendly, and proactive approach. Commitment to safeguarding and supporting young people.
Desirable:

Supervisory catering experience and experience in an educational or large-scale catering environment.
