Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and culinary skills, with a keen understanding of food safety practices. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in the planning and preparation of meals, ensuring that all food is prepared in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service during busy periods. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed. Participate in menu development and suggest new dishes based on seasonal ingredients or customer preferences.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
