Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our culinary team as a cook. This role is essential in ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with an emphasis on food safety and culinary excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to guests. Participate in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed. Provide excellent service by assisting with serving when required, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is highly desirable. Strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Culinary experience or relevant qualifications are an advantage. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
