Our

Taste for Life Cafes

are more than just places to grab a bite - they're vibrant community hubs where people come together to connect, relax, and enjoy their visit to our leisure centres.

We're looking for a

friendly and passionate Cook

to help us create a warm, welcoming experience for our customers. If you love preparing delicious food and brightening someone's day, this could be the perfect role for you!

What You'll Be Doing:

Preparing tasty meals and treats that are beautifully presented and full of flavour. Ensuring all food is stored, handled, and cooked in line with food hygiene legislation. Recording daily food safety checks in accordance with our policies. Supporting front-of-house service when needed - serving drinks, snacks, and sharing a smile with every customer. Assisting with stock control, coffee making, and till operation to keep things running smoothly.

What We're Looking For:

A team player with a positive attitude and great communication skills. Someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys creating a great customer experience. Basic food hygiene knowledge (training can be provided).

Salary;

Starting Salary only Grade E (24,525.19 p/a FTE equavalent)

Contracted roles follow a three point grading structure, with the opportunity to advance annually through the PDR (Performance and Development Review) process

Typical Shifts May Include;

Monday-Friday 9am - 4pm

Evenings and weekends will be included.
