Duties

Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to specified recipes and standards Assist in the organisation and maintenance of the kitchen area, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene Follow food safety regulations and maintain proper storage of ingredients Support meal preparation for service periods, including lunch, or dinner shifts Assist with plating and presentation of dishes to ensure visual appeal Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods Maintain stock levels and notify management of supplies needed for upcoming shifts

Skills

Experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen setting Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures Proven experience in meal preparation, ideally within a restaurant or catering environment Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Previous serving experience is advantageous but not essential Ability to adapt quickly to new recipes or procedures as required
