Overview

We are seeking a dedicated cook. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen preparing and delivering consistent bar menu and homecooked match meals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in food preparation and cooking, with a commitment to food safety and excellence in service.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to established recipes and standards. Cook and present dishes with attention to detail, ensuring consistency and quality. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment. Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various home cooking techniques. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in meal preparation. Previous restaurant experience is advantageous, demonstrating an ability to work effectively under pressure. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly within a busy kitchen setting. A passion for food and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field. Minimum requirements

Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification

Own transport

Pay: 14.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
