Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients Support the cooking process by following recipes and presentation standards Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces Prepare meals according to specified dietary requirements and customer preferences Assist with serving food to customers in a professional and courteous manner Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen environments is desirable but not essential Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Experience working in a restaurant or catering setting is advantageous Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour suitable for customer interaction Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if required A genuine interest in culinary arts and hospitality industry standards
