Duties

Prepare a variety of food items according to established recipes and standards Cook meals efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation Assist with meal preparation for service periods, ensuring timely delivery Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations Support the team during busy periods, including serving customers when required Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a kitchen environment is preferred Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Experience working in a restaurant or catering setting is advantageous Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times Good organisational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings and weekends if necessary
