Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team in preparing delicious meals for our residents.Hours :
8am - 6pm
30 hours per week
Availability to cover holidays and sickness .
Overtime : Christmas Day and New Years Day at double time rate
Responsibilities
: -Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with standard recipes
Ensure food preparation meets high-quality standards
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen work area
Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries
Follow food safety procedures and guidelines
Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
Experience: -
Proven experience as a Cook or similar role
Knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
Understanding of food safety principles
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure

It is compulsory to have / obtain an enhanced DBS check ( taken out of first wage)
It is compulsory to have Food Hygiene Level 2
