Duties

Prepare a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients. Cook meals efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area. Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to at all times, including proper storage and handling of ingredients. Serve customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders accurately and delivering excellent customer service. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces throughout shifts. Support the team during busy periods by assisting with additional tasks as required. Follow health and safety guidelines to create a safe working environment for all staff members.

Skills

Previous experience in food preparation or cooking is desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices. Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is advantageous, but not essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. A genuine passion for culinary arts and delivering exceptional service. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
