The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, cooking, and ensuring high standards of food safety and presentation. Duties

Assist in food preparation and cooking activities, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards. Support the kitchen team with meal assembly and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations. Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency. Help with inventory management by organising ingredients and supplies. Adhere to health and safety policies at all times, including proper handling of food and equipment. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service periods.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment is desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices. Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment. Good organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. A genuine interest in culinary arts and a willingness to learn new skills.
