Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary to meet our high standards. Participate in inventory management, including stock rotation and reporting any shortages or issues. Provide support in serving meals, ensuring that all dishes are presented beautifully and served promptly.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting. Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Previous experience in meal preparation is advantageous. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure. A team player who communicates well with others and contributes positively to the work environment. A passion for food and a desire to continually improve culinary skills is highly desirable.
