Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards, predominantly pasta and pizza. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food. Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management, reporting any shortages or issues. Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes. Serve meals to customers when required, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment. Strong culinary skills with the ability to create diverse dishes. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Previous restaurant experience is advantageous. working under pressure, sometimes running a lunch service alone. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team. A passion for food and commitment to delivering high-quality meals consistently.
