What you'll be doing...



As a Cook Supervisor, you'll play a key role in the smooth running of the school kitchen, supporting the Head Chef with cooking duties while also overseeing daily operations. You'll ensure the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety, while creating a positive and supportive environment for both colleagues and pupils.



Support the Head Chef with food preparation and cooking for pupils and staff Oversee and assist with pot washing, dishwashing, and general kitchen cleaning Lead and motivate the kitchen team to deliver high standards of service Monitor hygiene and safety procedures, ensuring compliance at all times Organise staff schedules and delegate daily tasks effectively Assist with staff training and development Communicate any operational updates or challenges to management promptly
