About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Cook Team Leader to lead our kitchen production team at Freshly Prep'd in Belfast. You'll manage the daily cooking operations, motivate your team, and ensure production targets are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

What You'll Do

Lead and support the Cook and Prep teams to meet daily production goals.

Plan and assign tasks, holding daily team briefings.

Maintain top-quality cooking standards and food safety compliance (HACCP/SALSA).

Check taste, texture, and temperature to ensure consistency.

Coordinate with Prep, Packing, and Inventory teams for smooth production flow.

Train and develop new team members, ensuring strong teamwork and communication.

Monitor ingredient levels and equipment use.

Record daily batch data and report to the Production Manager.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Experience leading a team in food production or a commercial kitchen.

Strong organisation and time-management skills.

Confident using Microsoft Excel and basic IT systems (training provided).

Proactive, hands-on leadership style.

Desirable:

Training in Food Hygiene, HACCP, COSHH, or Health & Safety.

3+ years' experience in food manufacturing.

Shift & Schedule

Full-time role, flexible shifts available (facility operates 7 days per week).
