Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards Assist in menu planning and develop new recipes to enhance our offerings Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery Serve meals efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and taste Train junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or similar culinary roles Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team Passion for culinary arts and continuous learning of new techniques and cuisines Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
